Well, perky Lynn taught a yoga class this morning at 8:30
Then, at 9:30, we had a bike maintenance clinic, headed by our tour guide, Carol. After a 25-year career with the US Navy, she now enjoys the unstructured life of retirement. She tells it like it is and has a wicked sense of humor. She can also power lift 350 pounds, so look out.
After her demonstration, I got my turn:
And soon, Baby was clean....
She really wasn't that dirty because I had taken good care of her after being in the rain....plus, if you recall, I chose NOT to ride while it was raining.
The rest of the day was spent getting to know the town a bit, and grabbing some lunch. We found a great little Mexican restaurant--it's been open 50 years in Blythe. It doesn't look very appetizing in the picture, but it was mmm-mmm good and I haven't gotten sick....life is good.
Gotta run--gotta pack for tomorrow. There will be no post tomorrow as the hotel/motel doesn't have any wifi service. As I understand it, it doesn't have much of anything (and I certainly hope that includes bedbugs!) and it will make the Jacumba Inn look like the Ritz. So until Thursday, I will bid you adieu.
By the way, Thursday is Bob's birthday, so please harass him with birthday wishes in my absence.
Lunch looks yummy! Sounds like you're having fun! Keep the posts coming, Mom! Love you! :)
