Spin Cycle

When I started this blog, it was to record my bicycle journey across the United States, and in doing so, inspire others to reach for that which they thought wasn't possible.  Since the completion of that trip, I quit blogging; during this hiatus, I received a number of emails and requests to continue. Some emails touched me deeply as they explained how I had inspired them to do something they were afraid to do.  Wow--that had been my intention....to be the change....and so, I have picked up my pen....er, I mean keyboard...... and here I am, blogging again.

Life challenges us with many unexpected events--rubber chickens, I call them.  These often throw our lives into a spin. With the washing machine, we can choose our spin cycle.....full speed, which wrings everything out, leaving it fairly dry but mangled: medium speed: delicate speed, or we can turn the machine off and seek a different option.  Life is the same way; we can choose how we wish to handle our 'spin cycles'.

Hence the new name....."Spin Cycle". (It also plays on my passion for bicycling.... and yes, I am patting myself on the back for my cleverness...) So, what do you think?  Is this a title worth keeping, or does it teeter on dorkiness.....
